How we store and protect personal data

We maintain strict administrative, technical and physical procedures to protect data we collect from the usage of Learning Lemur. All data is securely stored using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, which complies with leading international security standards including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR requirements.

Learning Lemur is a web application with a database schema hosted in AWS servers in Ireland. The application also uses our back-end service infrastructure, which is located in Ireland, the United States, and Singapore. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and is stored separately from application servers, ensuring additional protection through logical separation and network-layer security controls.

Access to personal information is limited and only the site administrator and DevOps team has access, secured through unique user/password credentials and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

We adhere to both the EU's GDPR and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring that all data transfers between the EU and the US are conducted securely and in full compliance with international data protection standards.
